Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Dialogis ("we", "us") handles personal data when you use the FluentTasks iOS application and the fluenttasks.com website (together, the "Service"). We are based in Windisch, Switzerland, and we operate under Swiss law and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable.

1. Who is responsible

The data controller is Dialogis, owned by Nedjat Nuhi, Windisch, Switzerland. Contact: support@dialogis.ai.

2. What we collect

Account data

When you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID identifier and — if you choose to share them on first sign-in — your display name and email address. We do not store passwords because we do not use email-and-password authentication.

Content you create

Tasks, projects, comments, and any attachments you add to a project. If you invite another person to a project, the people you share with can see the project's content.

Presence and sync data

To make real-time sync work, we record short-lived presence indicators (e.g. "user X is currently in project Y") and timestamps of edits. This data is necessary for the Service to function.

Subscription data

Subscriptions are processed by Apple and, where applicable, by RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., USA) for entitlement management. We receive a non-personal purchase identifier and the entitlement status; we do not see your payment method or full Apple ID.

Diagnostics

The app may collect crash logs and basic diagnostics through Apple. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

3. How we use your data

• To provide the core Service: store and sync your tasks across your devices and with the people you invite.
• To verify your subscription entitlement.
• To respond to support requests sent to support@dialogis.ai.
• To detect abuse and keep the Service secure.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data to train AI models.

4. Where your data is stored

The Service runs on Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, Firebase Authentication, Cloud Storage) operated by Google LLC. Data may be processed in the European Union or the United States. Google is contractually a processor under our data-processing agreement and applies EU Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers outside the EU/EEA.

5. Who we share data with

• Apple Inc. — Sign in with Apple, App Store subscriptions, push notifications, crash reporting.
• Google LLC (Firebase) — hosting, database, authentication.
• RevenueCat, Inc. — subscription entitlement management.
• People you invite — anyone you add to a shared project can see and edit that project.

6. Retention

We keep your account and content for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account from the app, we permanently delete your account record and projects you own within 30 days. Backups are rotated within 90 days. Aggregated, non-identifying logs may be retained longer for security.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP / DSG) you have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email support@dialogis.ai. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or your local EU supervisory authority.

8. Account deletion

Open the app, go to Profile → Delete account. Full instructions are on the delete account page.

9. Children

FluentTasks is rated 4+ but is not designed for or directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. We do not run targeted advertising.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. The effective date above will be updated.
