Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of FluentTasks, an iOS application and the website at fluenttasks.com (together, the "Service"), provided by Dialogis, owned by Nedjat Nuhi, Windisch, Switzerland.

1. Acceptance

By installing or using FluentTasks, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service; if you are under 18, use the Service only with parent or guardian consent.

2. Account and authentication

The Service uses Sign in with Apple exclusively. You are responsible for keeping your Apple ID secure. We do not offer password-based accounts.

3. Subscriptions

Pro Balanced is offered as a monthly ($4.99) or annual ($39.99) subscription. The annual plan includes a 7-day free trial. Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through your Apple ID. They auto-renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage and cancel subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Refunds are handled by Apple under their standard policy. We do not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds outside Apple's flow.

4. Free tier

The free tier includes one shared project and unlimited solo projects. We may change free-tier limits with reasonable notice; we will not retroactively delete content if you exceed a new free-tier limit.

5. Owner-pays sharing

Sharing capabilities are gated by the project owner's plan. People you invite do not need a Pro subscription to participate.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not use the Service to send unlawful, harassing, or harmful content.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Do not use the Service for spam or to send unsolicited messages.
• Do not upload content you do not have rights to share.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create in FluentTasks (tasks, comments, attachments). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display your content to you and the people you share with, solely to operate the Service.

8. Our intellectual property

The FluentTasks app, brand, and website are owned by Dialogis. You may not copy or redistribute them except as permitted by these Terms or applicable law.

9. Service availability

We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided as is and as available. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from the app (Profile → Delete account). We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these Terms or where required by law.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue for disputes is the competent courts of Aargau, Switzerland, subject to mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
